Bodegas Angel creates wines with their own identity and character thanks to the indigenous grape varieties of the region. We also have foreign grape varieties planted at our vineyard. Prensal Blanc and Manto Negro are the kings of the local region, single handily responsible protagonists for the identity and character of our wines.
TEN GENERATIONS OF LOVE FOR THE LAND
The winery is part of a farm that used to produce olive oil and wheat, along with the vines, they were the main type of crops in the 18th Century´s Mallorca. Pedro Ribas de Cabrera built the winery in 1711, in Consell, close to the vineyard, marking the beginning of an activity that is still in the hands of the family since ten generations. His father, Pere Joan Ribas, had relocated by marriage to Consell from the Cabrera estate in Algaida.
Stone tanks for the wine fermentation and “botes congrenyades” (ringed barrels) for its storage were installed in the cellar. His son, Mateo Ribas is the one who set up the olive mill in 1774 and the family house in 1776.
The winery, then managed by María-Antonia Oliver-Ribas, took a new turn towards research to improve the native varieties as well as international expansion.
In 2004, the technical management was handed over to the winemakers Araceli and Javier Servera Ribas, children of María Antonia, who are tenth generation. New reserach projects were launched to reduce the environmental impact and the winery opened its doors to visitors through wine tourism.

Located in Consell, in a historical wine region, our winery complements the respect of traditions with investment in research. The team share a common goal: to produce the best quality grapes in a sustainable way to make personal wines with marked tipicity.
The SON RAMON winery (founded 1649) lies in the municipality of Llubí, between the towns of Llubí and Muro.
As long ago as 1760, the estate was formed by 37 hectares of vineyards and an old Majorcan wine cellar, which is still conserved today. At the beginning of the past century phylloxera plague invaded Mallorca, and as in many other wineries all the vines had to be pulled up.
In 2005, the Ramis-Fornés family launched a new project with the oenologist Josep Lluís Pérez to plant ten hectares of vines and build a new winery equipped with the latest wine-making technology.
White and red grapes were planted, and the results have been excellent wines.
The vines grow on a double cordon trellis system to make it easier to check their strength.
History tells us that Sa Torre was a property owned as long ago as 1369 and is well known on the island because of the remarkable Neogothic chapel that stands nearby and overlooks the fields that extend between Llucmajor and Cap Blanc.
Local legends claim that the landowner ordered the chapel to be built in gratitude for the birth of the son he so dearly wanted.
Today, the chapel blesses the vineyards of Bodegas Bordoy. It all began when Miquel Sastre Bordoy bought the plots known as “Els camps de Sa Vinya” and “s’Aujub Vermell” belonging to the “Sa Torre” estate, with the idea that these fields that had been vineyards centuries before could produce wine once again. His know-how, determination and vision of the future did the rest.
From our beginnings in 1856 until today, we have pursued excellence in our wines, which have been and are made from selected grapes of traditional Mallorcan vines pampered by the sun around 300 days a year.

Bodegas Son Puig is a small family winery which produces wines on the Son Puig estate in the Puigpunyent valley, in the Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca (World Heritage Site, UNESCO 2011).
Limited series of wines are made with grapes coming exclusively from the estate’s own vineyard. Grapes are manually picked and directly selected on the plant. The wines are made under the Mallorca Protected Geographical Indication.

Our project started on the Son Vives estate in 1986, being pioneers in the recovery of the Malvasía de Banyalbufar, a variety that has been present in our lands since at least the 15th century. XVI. There we maintain the old cellar, which houses the oak barrels for the upbringing and aging of our wines. The new facilities of our winery were put into operation in September 2007 to produce the vintage of that year. They are located in a unique place between the sea and the mountains, at the exit of the town towards Estellencs (Crta Ma10, Km. 87.5 next to the car park). In them we carry out the process of making our wines and the bottling phase by hand. The space has a large terrace with fabulous panoramic views of the sea, the marjades (terraces) and the mountains and an adjacent Malvasia vineyard, thus resulting in an ideal space for guided tours, tastings, personalized events…
Can Axartell is a finca, or rural estate, unlike any other. It is a place where both the traditional and modern sides of Mallorcan winegrowing blend and coexist. It is home to vineyards, olive plantations, forests, hillsides and waterways that flow together into a harmonious whole. Yet before its rediscovery in the 1990s, Can Axartell had fallen into a long period of disrepair. Restoring the centuries-old buildings proved a long and arduous process, but that time was well spent preparing for the recovery and recultivation of the estate’s first vineyards. From the start, the estate has worked exclusively with certified organic practices. The modern winery buildings were completed in 2012, all dedicated to the Can Axartell philosophy: respect for the grapes, the environment, the people who produce the wine and those who enjoy it. The first modern Can Axartell vintage was bottled in 2013. Its wines have since earned acclaim on the island and far beyond as well
It is a very peculiar family petit celler, founded in 1979. It began with the design and the belief that Mallorca and, more specifically, Algaida, is able to fer vins de qualitat, we will start this project, an adventure and an illusion. We will not be able to say if it will be by experimenting, by hobby or by passing the temps, but the certitude is that we will begin to plant and, little by little, this project has been great in all aspects, I will lose sight of it l’main objective: to cultivate, elaborate and commercialize unique and quality wines.
El celler l’hem was built little by little with the efforts of the whole family. The building has a large open space, like the clastra of the pairals, amb els magatzems, el celler i l’hort al voltant. The cellar keeps a special atmosphere, of repos. Here it is on s’hi fa la criança i on hi has the optimal conditions for the envelliment and the conservation of the vines.
Both the vines and the cellar are located in Algaida, a town with deep wine-growing roots and an ancestral peasant culture, which is part of the DO Pla i Llevant de Mallorca.

The location of the Castell Miquel vineyard offers the best grape growing conditions. The slope is protected from the north and north-west winds by the mountains opposite our fields, ensuring that the grapes are spoiled by the Majorcan sun all day long.
Thanks to the mild temperatures, little rainfall and scarce winter days, the vines have enough time to develop their unique aromas.
Amongst other special features of the Castell Miquel vineyard are the 500-year-old dry stone walls. They store the heat during the day and release it to the vines on balmy nights, ensuring steady growing conditions.
